Chargeable weight is the greater of actual and volumetric. Volumetric is length × width × height in centimetres, divided by 5000.

Door to door. There is no separate pick-up fee and no charge for a second delivery attempt if nobody is in the first time.
Customs paperwork
We prepare and lodge it. Duty and tax set by the destination country are not ours to waive and are billed at cost, never marked up.

Is this the final figure?
It is the published rate for that weight and destination. We weigh and measure the parcel at collection and confirm the exact figure before anything is charged — if it comes back higher you can say no and nothing is taken.
Why is a light box sometimes priced like a heavy one?
A large light parcel takes the same space in a van as a small heavy one, so it is priced on whichever is greater: what it weighs, or what it measures.
What is not included?
Duty and tax charged by the destination country, and storage if a parcel is held at customs for longer than the free period. Both are passed on at cost.
Do you price by volume for regular senders?
Yes. From about 40 shipments a month an account rate is usually below the published one, and is billed monthly rather than per parcel.
